PHYTOREMEDIATION FIELD LAB WORKSHOP SERIES

City Atlas will have a series of workshops on phytoremediation on the following days:

SATURDAY, JUNE 16    11 - 2PM

SATURDAY, JULY 14    11 - 2PM

SATURDAY, AUGUST 11    11 - 2PM

Where: La finca del Sur, a community Farm in the South Bronx, 138th Street and Grand Concourse (4 or 5 train to 138th Street)

If you are interested in the work, would like to pick up a field guide or just enjoy working with plants, please come by on any of these days. Recent work has included planting mustard and blue stem grass and collecting soil samples to test for heavy metals. Please feel free to email hello@youarethecity.comwith any questions and pass on to anyone who might be interested.
