DESIGN PROFESSIONALS COALITION OF LONG ISLAND
Buildings which are not accessible are not sustainable. Settlements and other legal agreements reached between developers and the courts have resulted in the substantial renovation of newly constructed buildings to incorporate legally required accessibility. If a newly constructed sustainable building must be substantially renovated to incorporate accessibility, how truly sustainable is it? Achieve accessibility compliance during design development and construction to produce a truly sustainable project.
This session is intended for engineers, architects, landscape architects planners, facility managers & building owners and is applicable to LEED Pros.
Date: Wednesday February 1, 2012 from 6:30pm - 9pm
