Seeking a talented and accomplished Senior Landscape Designer with 8+ years experience to work primarily on international projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in large scale land planning, downtown revitalization and urban design, new community planning, institutional and campus site planning
• Analyze physical and environmental features of a site
• Understand site development capacity and limitations
• Translate development programs into detailed land use and site plans
• Prepare presentation-quality illustrations
• Integrate innovative sustainable design strategies and construction methods into project work at the planning level and in specific site design
• Ensure project compliance with applicable codes
• Prepare final designs including technical details
• Initiate and lead design teams
• Ability to undertake frequent site inspections within the continent and beyond, primarily into the Middle East
• Communicate with the client nationally and internationally

Job Requirements:

• A Master or Bachelor Degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program 
• 10+ years landscape architecture experience including experience with:
•             large scale land planning institutional and campus planning, commercial work (private         sector)
•             technically sound, innovative site design and implementation
•             sustainable design strategies
•             hand and computer-aided design skills
•             working in a collaborative environment
•             leading teams of professionals, ie. landscape architects and civil engineers
•             preparation of proposals and attendance at interviews
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time to Asia and the Middle East
• LEED AP preferred
