York Parks and Recreation Lecture Series, “Uncommon Ground.” The series includes events promoting the theories
of thoughtful and visionary planners and practitioners on how the park system
of the future can grow and flourish despite economic downturns. These will include concepts in park and
garden design, recreation and sports, historic and environmental preservation
and public education.
